Project As the patents on the bestselling glass actuator expire and the competition increases, a new and much cheaper glass actuator was needed which is protected by new patents. Responsibilities During my permanent job as Product Engineer I led the project team. I was in charge of concept choices and led the technical aspects during product development. Powerfold Mirror Actuator

  Powerfold Mirror Actuator [cl_column width="2/3"][cl_column width="1/3" col_sticky="1"] Client MCi (Mirror Controls International) designs, produces and sells actuators for the automotive industry. Project Development of a new compact and silent 21X Power Fold actuator. This is an actuator to which the door mirror is attached and it ensures that the mirror cover can rotate. Responsibilities During my permanent job as Product Designer at MCi, I worked within a team on implementating and testing mechanical improvements. The design was improved for mass production in collaboration with molding and assembly specialists.
