MCi (Mirror Controls International) designs, produces and sells actuators for the automotive industry.
Project
Development of a new compact and silent 21X Power Fold actuator. This is an actuator to which the door mirror is attached and it ensures that the mirror cover can rotate.
Responsibilities
During my permanent job as Product Designer at MCi, I worked within a team on implementating and testing mechanical improvements. The design was improved for mass production in collaboration with molding and assembly specialists. I made part of the CAD modeling and drawings of metal and plastic injection molded parts such as gears and housings.
